Field Guide
A small restaurant in the North End of Halifax established in 2013, Field Guide is dedicated to bridging the gap between diners and their food through an open concept kitchen and passionate service. With an emphasis on supporting local farmers and producers for both our dishes and drinks, Field Guide is a place to gather.
Field Guide has been mentioned and ranked in myriad publications including The Coast, RePorter, Imbibe, and Chatelaine. Our compact kitchen and bar has nurtured some of Halifax's best hospitality talent; Jeff Van Horne, Shane Beehan, Justin Floyd, Natalie Rosen, and Josh Nordin to name a few!
