This place is hit and miss. Depending on what day it is will be the final judgement. A lot of kids visit this bar late at night and during Wednesday when they have the 12 for 12 draft special on. The place is packed and generally fights break out. Any other time during the week is a good time to be there. The beer is always cold and the food is quite good. The Pizza is fantastic along with the Nacho platter. The price is expensive but you do get good portions. Every time I step into the place, there is new staff hired.

My husband and I had been talking for months about trying this pub out we finally went and we are glad we did. We had an excellent meal, great service..We might have gone a little overboard in ordering but we wanted to try a bit of everything. All items came piping hot with great flavour. After Peel Pub sank beneath the waves, me and my buddies had to find a new pub to enjoy. We tried a lot of places out downtown until we found this one. Scotland Yard is pretty awesome. It isn't pretentious or overpriced. It has solid, good pub food and pretty much everything you want to wash it down with. A great place to load up your stomach before a night of partying and dancing. The style is Olde English, but the menu has a good mix of Canadian food too. Chairs and Tables are old world but they are in good shape.
Lack of parking is a problem, so if you are on foot this is a much better option. Also, waitresses do have a habit of disappearing, largely because the bar is U-shaped, but my cup has never truly run dry. They take pretty good care of there customers, and I always feel like I get my money's worth. The place can get a little bit rowdy with the mix of locals and tourists, but I've never felt disturbed by the clientale.
A pretty fun pub. Get your eats and start your crawl.

Lion on the Beach is great place to relax, drink and eat. The food to date has always been delicious and scores high points in presentation and originality. While it is the disguise as regular pub fare, it would appear to be more tantilizing than one would have expected.
The atmosphere is soothing and fun much like the rest of the beaches. The services can be a bit irradict due to overflow of customers but has always been exceptional. The one draw back on the services comes from one particular bartender who has forced me to go on painkillers due to making me smile so hard that my face hurts.

I visited last night for the first time for a friends birthday party I have to say the atmosphere was very nice the food was good the only downfall being a disabled person is with the washrooms be in downstairs.
