We started our visit via the internet to get a feel for the restaurant. We were curious to see the prices and any other information we could gather. We found the website to be user friendly and included day and evening menus with prices. We called to inquire about reservations and the hostess that answered was friendly and well informed. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the same hostess that answered the phone and accommodated us with the window seat that we had asked for. Walking in the atmosphere was warm and inviting with an amazing view of the Niagara Falls. Our waitress was pleasant and professional in all aspects of her job. She frequently stopped by to talk with us and ensure that our visit was a pleasant one. Her attention to us did not waiver even as the restaurant got busier. The food was fresh and exceeded all our expectations, right down to the butter. The steaks were prepared exactly the way we ordered them and the baked potato was superb. Overall this restaurant was outstanding, dinner was delicious, view was exquisite, service was amazing and we had a wonderful time. Green Acres is a family tradition for the last ten years. Each Good Friday and a handful of times throughout the year we travel from Niagara Falls, Ontario to Fort Erie for the sole purpose of eating their fish and chips. The service is always fantastic and the food reasonably priced and excellent. We'll be visiting again this Good Friday and my stomach is already grumbling. My only complaint is that the fish and chips is so good, I never order anything else on the menu. Never-the-less, other family members have and swear by the taste and massive portions. Read more

Very fresh, well prepared food and the sauces complimented the food perfectly. There are a couple of different types of fish, and for those who don't enjoy fish there are also shawarmas and burgers.
